Full End-to-End Transformation
Scenario: Replacing manual, paper-based legacy processes with a unified digital workflow.
This architecture acts as the primary system of engagement. The animation illustrates a single, unbroken "continuum" of data originating at the web form intake, traversing through document generation/negotiation, and landing securely in storage.
Key Capabilities
- Delightful Web Forms: Intelligent intake replacing PDFs.
- Integrated Workflows: Automated workflow and redlining.
- eSignature: Compliant execution and storage.

The Supporting Actor
Scenario: Mature processes exist within a core system of record/agreement toolset (CRM, Custodian, etc) but lack agile agreement capabilities.
In this model, DocuSeal acts as a data enrichment loop. The main enterprise stream continues, while DocuSeal branches off to execute a specific signature related transaction, then injects that enriched data back into the Risk or CRM system.
Key Capabilities
- Pre-built Connectors: Rapid integration with Salesforce/Pega.
- Data Write-back: Signed metadata syncs to core.
- Embedded Buttons: Trigger workflows from Risk/CRM.

Deconstructed Platform (Headless)
Scenario: Highly customized, white-label portals where user experience is paramount.
This is an API-first approach. Your custom front-end application (React, Angular, etc.) handles the UI, while making granular API calls to specific DocuSeal microservices.
Note: Although accessed via separate API calls, these services share a unified data context on the backend, ensuring data consistency across the platform.
Key Capabilities
- REST API: Granular control over every step.
- Decoupled: Classic envelope features available without needing to be coupled with a signature.
- Modular: Call only the services you need (e.g., just ID verification).
